The Trailblazers Impact Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to empowering and supporting educational opportunities, recently hosted its much-anticipated Inaugural Vine & Vibes: Derby Day Party. This extraordinary event took place at the stunning Childress Vineyards in the heart of Lexington, NC, bringing together a vibrant community to celebrate the spirit of giving and raise funds for scholarships benefiting High School Students in Davidson County. The evening was filled with elegance, excitement, and a shared commitment to fostering education for a brighter future.

 

Supporting Education, One Sip at a Time:

The Trailblazers Impact Foundation understands the power of education and its ability to transform lives. With this event, they sought to create a lasting impact on the community by raising funds for scholarships. The proceeds from the Inaugural Vine & Vibes: Derby Day Party will directly benefit deserving students at Lexington High School and High Point University, providing them with the financial support they need to pursue their academic dreams and aspirations.

A Day of Elegance and Generosity:

The Inaugural Vine & Vibes: Derby Day Party perfectly blended the time-honored traditions of the Kentucky Derby with the sophistication of a fine wine experience. Guests arrived in their finest attire, donning stylish hats and dapper suits, as they embraced the Derby spirit. The venue, Childress Vineyards, provided a picturesque backdrop with its rolling vineyards, charming architecture, and warm Southern hospitality, setting the stage for an unforgettable event.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2023 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Micah recognizes the absence of up-to-date technology as a significant hindrance. He emphasizes the importance of addressing the technological limitations in education, aiming to use his education in computer engineering to improve access and affordability of reliable technology for low-income schools. His goal is to develop long-lasting and cost-effective computer components and devices that can keep up with the newest software, reducing the financial burdens faced by communities and removing the educational disadvantages they currently experience. Micah has chosen to further his education at Wake Forest University.

Christian aims to assist victims of credit fraud. She has a fascination with the abundance and value of data, emphasizing the potential dangers when it falls into the wrong hands, as demonstrated by the Colonial Pipelines attack in May 2021. She intends to apply her skills to combat cyber threats, advocate for gender inclusivity in the IT and STEM fields, and support women pursuing their passions despite opposition. She recognizes the importance of data security in everyday technology and is dedicated to making devices safer.

Madison is a rising Junior at High Point University. She aspires to become an elementary school teacher and aims to advance into administration to bring about positive change in the educational system, particularly in addressing the resource disparities faced by minority children. She believes in fostering equity and providing equal opportunities for all students. Having experienced the lack of representation during her education, she knows the importance of being a role model for children, especially for young African American women. Madison is also a member of the Sigma Mu chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
