    Past Presidents

    Though Tau Epsilon Sigma was founded in 2021, our legacy of leadership is already taking shape through the dedication and vision of our presidents. Each leader has played a crucial role in laying the foundation for the chapter’s growth, visibility, and community impact. As we continue to build upon these early successes, we honor the presidents who have helped set the course for Tau Epsilon Sigma’s future.

    Brother Marzettis O’Neal Jr. - Founding President (2021–2025)

    Brother Marzettis O’Neal Jr. proudly served as the Founding President of the Tau Epsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. from its inception in 2021 through 2025. A Spring 2003 initiate of the Eta Chapter, Brother O’Neal brought a deep commitment to Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service as he led the chapter through its formative years.

    Under his leadership, Tau Epsilon Sigma established a strong foundation of impactful programming, community partnerships, and a growing presence across the High Point, Thomasville, and Lexington areas. His vision and dedication were instrumental in positioning the chapter as a vibrant and forward-moving force within the Sigma family and the local community.

    Brother E. Rashad Beard -President (2025–Present)

    Brother E. Rashad Beard currently serves as the second President of the Tau Epsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., beginning his term in 2025. A Spring 2004 initiate of the Eta Chapter, Brother Beard brings a strong passion for leadership, innovation, and community impact.

    Building upon the foundation laid by the chapter’s founding leadership, Brother Beard is focused on driving Tau Epsilon Sigma’s continued growth, expanding its signature programs, and increasing visibility across the region. Under his leadership, the chapter is advancing key initiatives in youth mentorship, scholarship, community service, and business development—helping to position Tau Epsilon Sigma as a model chapter within the Sigma brotherhood.

    Tau Epsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.. Established in 2021, this organization exemplifies the tenets of brotherhood, scholarship, and service, serving as an asset to its community.
